Mom or Dad had saved these letters to Santa from probably 1976-79. I do remember knowing the truth pretty early on but not wanting to let go of the fun tradition.

That's my writing! Even tho Mom did the heavy lifting at Christmas, I did a few things. And BTW, the reindeer really did like the cookies...
Aw! I kind of thought that was yours, sounded like your "voice" there. She did the heavy lifting with gift buying and cooking, but you did the hard working to pay for it all, so there's that!
