Finally, Andreas turns 6! He's been waiting for a long time to be the same age as everyone else in his class (he's been the only five year-old in there all fall). Today consisted of pancakes and presents at dawn, treats taken to school, special request dinner (spaghetti with tomato sauce) followed by more presents from Grandma Becky and the gang and pumpkin cake with cream cheese frosting. Thanks so much for the calls, Grandma and Grandpa and Aunt Emily, and for the card, Aunt Leigh!

The thing they are looking at on the floor is a five foot-long timetable of the U.S. Presidents. Super-cool! He also got one with the history of the Revolutionary War.

No, it's a hot pink fleece hooded poncho with jumbo ricrac trim I made her for her birthday (I know, TMI . . . . )
